The most amazing food - melt in the mouth. Steak, carrots, beets, focaccia - all just outstanding! Service was fabulous - answered our questions, gave advise, superb and well worth the visit!
Probably some of the quickest service we’ve had in an a restaurant to date. Sat down at 18:02, ordered and served all 6 dishes by 18:15. We had so much time left on our booking that we were able to go and have dessert at another place nearby after! Our waiter was great and really attentive. The food was superb and very tasty. The place had a good atmosphere and we really enjoyed our visit.
Wow, the food at Mesa was unreal - easily some of the best I’ve ever had. Every dish was unique and full of flavor, a definite 10/10. My favorites were the ribeye pork and the cabbage dish was just incredible! Huge compliments to the chef for such an amazing experience. The only downside was that the toilets could have been better, but overall, a wicked experience. Highly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Jerusalem artichoke, which had a wonderful variety of textures and balanced flavours. The pan-fried cod was another standout, with a hint of wasabi that complemented the dish beautifully. My only critique would be the aubergine dish, where I found the cumin a bit overpowering. I look forward to returning on my next visit to Nottingham.
I decided we needed a treat and rare night out and Mesa was just what we needed. Delicious and super memorable food paired with an exquisite orange wine. Slightly annoyingly, my partner decided to order the carrots, I don’t like carrots... but I loved Mesa Carrots! how do you do that? I’m also gluten free and had oodles of options... a rare joy when eating out. The service was also attentive and food arrived swiftly! Thank you Mesa! We will definitely be back! x
Lovely restaurant couldn’t recommend enough. Restaurant its self is nicely decorated and cosy, with friendly staff. The food was beautiful, there simply was not a bad dish, even the fries were done beautifully. My personal favorite was the cod dish, and the lamb. Altogether we got 5 dishes, 2 soft drinks, and one alcoholic and came to 63 in total, which in my opinion was reasonable for very good food, so was worth the penny. Would 100% recommend to other people.
